Day 8
Posted in KettleBelleBody Challenge on 11/17/2008 11:17 am by adminIts hard to believe that I have been without caffeine, wheat, sugar, processed food for a week. My body has much more level energy. Following the Elimination Diet seems overwhelming at first, but you can actually eat many different foods and you are never hungry.
Each day gets a little easier as you get into the groove of it.
I weighed this morning and I am down 3 lbs from when I started so I am super happy about that. I keeps me wanting more, I would really like to be in the 120’s by Christmas ! Once i hit 130 I will weigh less than I did 7 years ago, but I know for a fact that my body is a different shape because of all the iron being lifted!
I did not do my KettleBelleBody workout this morning as I met a friend at the gym. We both came up with ideas for a killer Crossfit workout and then chose one! We did …
15 lunges (each leg)
15 pull ups (i did jumping negatives)
15 cleans (2 x 15lb dumbells)
15 press ups
Run 800m.
We timed ourselves I came in at 24.05, but missed 125m off the run because I lost track of the laps, I really need to add 30 seconds on to get a more accurate time.
I felt fantastic to do a timed workout again, Im thinking instead of intervals I will add a workout like this into my week, cause it sure gets your heart rate up.

Sounds similar to the Primal Blueprint and Paleo style of eating. I wince when i think of how many people eat carb loaded cereal each morning and think they are eating healthy!
Good idea…don’t forget those CF style workouts. They work!

Way to go - 3 pounds in one week…that’s awesome! Your CF workouts are painful!
I started yesterday with no caffeine…..had a wicked headache…but nothing today…so…here’s to being caffeine FREE!!!
