Hunt for chalk is over !

I have finally found the shop that sells the weightlifting chalk ! Who knew that something so simple could be so hard to find!

if you are in Calgary and are looking for this go to Samsons! lol While i was in there i stocked up with some more protein powder and some bars for the hubby. I only eat the Elevateme ones as they are only made from natural clean organic ingredients he doesnt like them as they only have 16g of protein. I still have to hide mine from him though !!!

I also had to go on a mad drive around the city, my daughters waiver for soccer was not accepted and in order for her to play in the league game on Sunday it needed to be sorted. I had to go to our soccer clubs office to collect a form, then to her coaches house to collect another form and then get to the soccer center. Of course none of these places are near to one another and i have driven about 100km getting this sorted!

I also bought my 1st Christmas present for my kids, cant say what it is in case they read my blog! Feels good to get started, this year i want it finished by the beginning of December! OK so i say this every year !

About to go downstairs and throw my Kettlebells around.

Need to shake this cold

Do any of you want my cold ? …..

Arrgghh, this cold does not want to go, i have not worked out all week and it is driving me crazy.  I am going to give today a miss too and do a workout tomorrow at home. Its kind of scary the way that its knocked me off my feet, i need to get mulit vitamins into me !!!  I am terrible at remembering them.

My new kettlebells are calling my name so i will be throwing them around tomorrrow, stay tuned for my next post telling you what i broke ! lol

The Benefits of Multi Vitamin Supplements

The majority of people do not eat a sufficiently balanced diet to provide them with all of the vitamins that they require and this has led to a boom in the multi vitamin supplement industry.  

Multi vitamin supplements are available in a number of different forms, including tablets, gel capsules and even liquids. Of course, a liquid multi vitamin supplement is the most suitable form for children but it is also beneficiate anyone who has difficulty taking supplements in traditional tablet form. 

The increase in the availability of multi vitamin supplements has led to a great variety in the brands and also the actual content of the multi vitamin supplements. The names of some of the nutrients in these multi vitamin supplements can be a little bewildering and many people simply do not know which ones they require. To make the decision simpler there are now a number of multi vitamin supplements created for specific people. For example, there are multi vitamin supplements that are designed for children. These multi vitamin supplements contain the specific nutrients that children need for them to grow and develop properly.  

Pregnant women have unique nutrient requirements to ensure that their baby receives the necessary nutrients and there are multi vitamin supplements prepared for pregnant women. As we get older we also have different nutrient requirements and multi vitamin supplements for the elderly are a popular product. 

It is important to consider the contents of any multi vitamin supplement before consuming too many. There are some vitamins that can be toxic if too much is absorbed and this can occur more easily with multi vitamin supplements as some of the content may be overlooked. The labelling of the actual percentage of the recommended daily allowance for each vitamin in a multi vitamin supplement should be clearly labelled and must be assessed before a person takes them. Always seek professional medical advice before taking any multi vitamin supplement if thereis any doubt as to the benefits of the contents.
