Do any of you want my cold ? …..
Arrgghh, this cold does not want to go, i have not worked out all week and it is driving me crazy. I am going to give today a miss too and do a workout tomorrow at home. Its kind of scary the way that its knocked me off my feet, i need to get mulit vitamins into me !!! I am terrible at remembering them.
My new kettlebells are calling my name so i will be throwing them around tomorrrow, stay tuned for my next post telling you what i broke ! lol

Sometimes no matter where you are in your training you have to listen to your body. For me i have been coughing and sneezing for the last couple of days, i really need to take another day off and do my best to get over this.
If you are going to a public gym for the sake of the other gym goers please stay away if you are coughing or sneezing. The gym is a germ infested place anyway, let alone having to use equipment where someone has just sneezed all over it.
the other times you need to listen to your body is if you have injuries, by not stopping training the area that is injured will make you eventually need more time off for a more serious injury. A few days rest is better than a few months of rehabilitation.
I am going to stay hydrated and just relax today!

I have been taking it really easy, the last 2 days we have been on bike rides, dont worry biking with kids and dogs is hardly Interval training, more like a stroll in the park !
I feel like i am ready to do more, tomorrow i will be going back to the gym and ill do a light session, i wont lift the usual weights but drop it down, ill see how im feeling and maybe do a walking interval on the treadmill.

The procedure went OK, it wasn’t as bad as i thought. I’m praying that they have taken away all the abnormal cells. I just feel really tired probably more due to the stupid car down the street from us whoes car alarm was going off all night. I’m a little sore if i move around too much, so for today i am going to CHILL and I’m not feeling GUILTY! It is going to drive me crazy, but i have to listen to the Doc, i want to heal fast and if i work out too heavily i will just take longer to heal.
I found out that i have low grade changes in my birth canal too, so that needs to be checked every 6 months, they took better swabs from there this time as id had the freezing. I’m not going to stress about this latest news, low grade changes can sort themselves out. My focus is on being healthy !
I worked out like a crazy girl last night, i took all my frustration out on the treadmill, i ran intervals after doing weights, i did 5 sets of 2 min 5mph and 1 min 11 mph !!! woohooo, i thought that i was going to fly off the treadmill! lol
One of the trainers at my gym whom i chat to is running the Canadian Death Race in Grande Cache this weekend, she will be running 125 kms, its set in the mountains. She is one crazy chick, and will be thinking of her all weekend. I cant wait to hear her stories from the race. Jen i have no idea if you look at my blog but Good Luck, you are going to do awesome, you are so ready and prepared. Im sending you all the energy that im not allowed to use !!

WOW, its been so long since i last blogged.
My little girl is better, she has full movement in her arm again now we just have to work on getting strength back.
As for me, its been the worst 3 weeks of my life. It started with a cyst on my ovary bursting, then it got infected, so i was given loads of anti biotics, then 5 days into the anti biotics i started getting a fever, i ended up in hospital with a fever of 40 degrees. They thought it was my appendix, but after having a CT scan it showed that im ok inside, just the burst cyst. They have no idea what caused the fever but it certainly laid me out. I didnt move off the sofa for a week. I have lost loads of weight, and am still feeling weak, but i am determind to get back to working out tomorrow.
I know that i will need to take it easy and listen to my body. Why do these things happen when we are just flying along feeling so good about ourselves. I have crossfit tomorrow, i will go to the class and do what i can but i will not be going 100%.

Wow its Friday again. I have taken it really easy this week; I only went to my crossfit class. We learnt the clean and press, I was really surprised that I was able to do it; my hip was not hurting at all. I took about 20 mins after to really focus on stretching my legs and back out.
I have the chiro again this afternoon and we will do a progress report, I feel so good, not 100% but well enough to get back at it.
This unexpected injury has messed up my afterburn program; I think that I will just get back to it where I got injured rather than missing a week out. Week 9s exercises got really hard and I need to do them for 4 weeks I can only imagine what weeks 12-16 will be like.
I’m feeling really soft and squidgy today, im hoping that it will go away quickly when im exercising again.
I have kept my diet clean, and I have drunk my water.

I’m here! Just taking my time to get better.
I have been to the chiropractor 4 times now, he thinks by Friday I will be almost healed. That being said I will not be stupid. I know that if I do not baby it I will be recovering for a long time.
My eating and water have been excellent, I know that in order to maintain I need to be super clean. I hope that I have not lost too much muscle in the last week.

Just got back from the chiropractor.
I have strained my quad, this is caused by my hipflexors being tight. The other side is just about ready to go too! I had some deep massage treatment and he manipulated my lower back. I had not even realised that my back was tight, it now feels great.
I feel really sore in my hip, but just pleased that it isnt anything serious. A few trips to the chiropractor and it will be getting better.
Note to self, i need to spend more time stretching. I thought that i was doing enough, obviously not. He will be giving me more stretches to do.
The bit that im really bummed about is no exercise for a few days. I will be making sure that my diet is squeaky clean.
