WOW, 2 weeks gone of this mini challenge. Each day gets a little easier with the diet, I an just trying to stick with a similar diet every day. but mixing up the fruit and veggies. Its working ! Last week I did not loose any weight but I know that I am down some inches. I don’t know if I should measure or just wait for the surprise on the 10th December.
This weekend was insane, but by packing good food it was manageable. It was still torture on Saturday morning when everyone was walking around with their coffee and I was sipping my herbal tea. I dont think that I ever will get over my longing for a good coffee :0) I even went out to buy coffee, hot chocolate and snacks for the family and did not even blink at not having any.
This morning at the gym to people stopped me to say I am looking skinny !!! It gave me the motivation to do a real kick butt workout.
Run 400m
30 box jumps (24″)
30 Kettlebell swings (35lb)
Run 400m
Repeat the above but with less reps (25,20,15,10,5). It was a killer workout, I really love these ones where you go to run and your legs do not want to work.
My time was 28min 29 sec.
I now have 4 blisters on my hands from the kettlebell swings, I hope they dont get in the way of my Kettlebellebody workout tomorrow.
Only 8 days until my course, so I will be really focusing on that. I need to get ahead with the reading and understand the concepts of training someone so that I am not so overwhelmed with the actual course. I will still blog every day but the goals that I had with getting more information on here need to take a backseat until after the course.

WOW, the workout yesterday has fried my back and my quads. I almost never get sore quads so im happy about that ;0)
Today my workout was
Run 3 laps of the track (in my gym that is about 400m in total)
50 squats
50 push ups
50 situps Repeat the above 5 times
Finished in 34.05
Note to self make sure i read the workout properly. For the 1st 3 rounds i didnt do the push ups. Not good trying to get 250 push ups in 2 rounds. My arms are fried, i couldnt even hold the stretching mat. Apart from that another great workout.

I did another Crossfit workout today.
Run 400m
21 Kettlebell swings
12 push ups. 3 tims through.
For the kettlebell swings i used 35lbs, one of the trainers in the gym gave me some chalk for my hands, what a idfference this made, i could really feel that my hands stuck to the iron. Note to self need to buy chalk.
My push ups were done on my toes. Pumped the 1st set out ok but the 2nd and 3rd had to be broken down. I really dont mind doing that as i know that i am working my body a lot harder than if i had done them on my knees.
I want to buy myself a kettlebell !!! lol
it was supposed to be done for time, but someone interrupted me after my 1st set, don’t you just hate that. This is why if I’m working out at the gym i have headphones in, its my sign to say I’m not approachable, as soon as i have finished with the workout i take the headphones out and I’m free to talk !!!
Well normally i cant catch my breath, i can listen but not talk back to you!!! lol

Im still finding that i need to baby my shoulder, when will this ever go away. My workout today included thrusters, so i dropped the weight down so that i dont cause more damage.

This workout was for time, BUT when i started the stopwatch i must have double clicked it, i realised that the watch wasnt going after id done 400m and the 50 thrusters, i started the watch again then and my time was 15.25. Quite annoyed about that, but i still got a great workout in.

A great start to the week, everything is coming into place now, im feeling stronger and smaller. I have never had a problem with getting my workouts in, as i said before I really need to focus on my diet. This weekend really proved to me that i need to keep my head in the game everyday. I am not having binges but more not eating enough of anything.
Todays workout went so well, by keeping a log of my workouts i can see where I am improving and what i need to work on. I was really frustrated a couple of weeks ago, but now i seem to be on fire, my running is back up to speed so this is really helping get my times down.
I think that i will drive you all crazy with my videos but here is another one !! I filmed just before the workout and then 30 minutes after. You can see how ‘ill’ i look after but i will take that as i just smashed another time !!!!

I revisited another workout. I did this one last time on September 2nd. This was the 1st workout since the summer and getting over my surgery ! So it has only been 23 days.
50 squats
40 fat man pull ups
30 push ups
20 sit ups
10 burpees
5 laps of the running track (around 600m) Repeat 3 times.
When i did this last time it was done in 34.02, TODAY my time was 26.13. OMG i am so happy, Justa when you said to me that my fitness would come back fast, i had no idea this fast. Now i need to concentrate and get this body moving in the right direction. Also last time i kept track of each round and took a 1-2 min break inbetween, today i did the 3 rounds with no break.!!!
For any of you out there, day 1 is just the start and keeping logs be it a journal, a blog can really help you keep track of your progression. I took around 7.49 mins off my time in just over 3 weeks, had i not kept track of this i would not be seeing my successes in the true light.
I am off to celebrate my success with a dog walk and then a kids sports day + a smile on my face !

I did Nicole this morning, OMG i still hate it !!
400m plus AMRAP ( as many reps as possible) pull ups, i did modified pull ups as i am still not at a point where i can kip.
I did 7 rounds plus 200m. The reps were 21,15,12,11,15,12,15.
This was the closest that i have come to puking in the gym for a long time, i was a state for about 30 mins after, and i didnt stop shaking till i ate.
Not moaning, i love it ;0)
I compared it to May 23rd 08. Woohooo did 1 full round extra !!!!! Im HAPPY

From Sunday afternoon to Monday afternoon, i couldnt get access to my blog !!! arrggghhh
Sunday was a day of rest, and boy did i need it.
Monday i volunteered on a school field trip. It was an outdoor one, so it was brill being in the fresh air all day. I got back at 2.20 so i walked/ran the dogs as they had been shut up all day. Then that evening i did the same run/walk with the family, then i did 3 rounds of tabatas, squats, push ups and burpees!
Todays workout was 6 sumo deadlift high pulls, 6 burpees and 6 snatches, i used 45 lb bar, repeat for 20 minutes. This is another deceiving workout, my arms were on fire. I did 10 sets, not sure how that compares but im happy with the result as i did it as required!
