Windmill Kettlebell
Posted in KettleBelleBody Challenge, Kettlebells, videos on 01/19/2009 11:15 am by adminJust got back from training at the Dojo, Im really enjoying training there, I have to go there 3-4 times a week to clean the mats etc so I took the KBs there as its a much nicer environment than my basement.
I am working really hard at getting my form corrected for the windmills, so I took some more video this morning.
Have a look and let me know. I added weight today and this helped me to slow my decent down, but wow what a difference weight makes.
Please critique me, I have really needed pointing in the right direction with this exercise.

Looking good kel. I see a big improvement compared to the last video. The only thing I would do is get in the habit of performing a clean & press/push press/jerk or snatch to get the bell up top. Therefore, it won’t be such a chore, as you go up in weight.
It appears you are a lot more flexible on your right side. Thus, I would hold the bottom portion, when descending on the left for a few more seconds, in order to get the left side more flexible.
As I mentioned before, in order to get a feel for what needs to be corrected in form, or to recognize the form is good, try not to descend as quickly. Keep rockin’ and rollin,’ mama!
