Listen to your body
Posted in Sickness on 10/14/2008 08:14 am by adminSometimes no matter where you are in your training you have to listen to your body. For me i have been coughing and sneezing for the last couple of days, i really need to take another day off and do my best to get over this.
If you are going to a public gym for the sake of the other gym goers please stay away if you are coughing or sneezing. The gym is a germ infested place anyway, let alone having to use equipment where someone has just sneezed all over it.
the other times you need to listen to your body is if you have injuries, by not stopping training the area that is injured will make you eventually need more time off for a more serious injury. A few days rest is better than a few months of rehabilitation.
I am going to stay hydrated and just relax today!
